Our Story

We Did Not Build Another Software. We Built What Businesses Actually Needed.

After a combined 20 years watching Canadian businesses invest in technology they never used, we decided the problem was not the businesses. It was the approach.

How It Started

A Phone Call in 2022 Changed Everything.

It had been two years since Lydia had spoken to one of her consulting clients — a business owner she had worked with closely during Canada's digital adoption push. She called to check in. What she heard stopped her.

He had an expensive system in place. CRM, booking software, automated reminders — everything a modern service business was supposed to have. But his team was on job sites all day. Nobody was logging in. Calls were still being missed. Quote follow-ups were still falling through the cracks. And the reviews were getting worse because customers felt ignored.

"I paid for all of this, and nothing changed."

Lydia had heard some version of this story in almost every one of the 100+ businesses she had consulted with across Canada. The problem was never the technology. The problem was that nobody had time to run it.

She called her sister Maggy that same evening. Maggy had spent years building marketing automation systems and customer journey workflows for businesses. She understood immediately what Lydia was describing — and she knew exactly how to solve it.

The answer was not better software. The answer was removing the software from the equation entirely — and replacing it with a fully managed operation that runs on the business owner's behalf.

ScaleOps-AI launched in 2022 with that original client as our first customer. We configured everything. We ran everything. He never logged into a dashboard. Within weeks, his missed calls dropped to zero, his follow-up became consistent, and his reviews started improving.

He is still a client today.

20+ Years in Tech OperationsDell · Microsoft · HP100+ Canadian SMB Projects

Lydia's career spans more than two decades in technology operations, beginning with enterprise roles at Dell, Microsoft, and HP — where she developed deep expertise in operational systems, process design, and organisational efficiency.

She later moved into independent consulting, working directly on Canada's digital adoption programs — helping small and medium businesses across more than 100 projects understand, implement, and actually use technology to grow their operations.

Her areas of expertise include operational strategy, project management, cybersecurity guidance for SMBs, and data and analytics — helping businesses not just collect data but use it to make better decisions.

ScaleOps-AI is the product of everything she learned across those 100+ projects: that the businesses which thrive are not the ones with the most sophisticated tools, but the ones with the most reliable operations.

Maggy's expertise is in the full customer journey — from the moment a potential client first encounters a business to the point where they become a loyal, referring customer.

Her background in marketing automation, social media management, and customer experience design has given her a precise understanding of where revenue leaks happen after the first contact is made. A missed follow-up. A quote that goes cold. A completed job that never generates a review. These are not small problems — they are the difference between a thriving business and one that constantly starts from zero.

At ScaleOps-AI, Maggy designs and oversees the automated sequences that keep every client relationship moving forward — follow-up timing, review requests, re-engagement campaigns, and the communication systems that make clients feel valued without the business owner lifting a finger.

Our Philosophy

We Have Seen What Happens When BusinessesTry to Adopt Technology Alone.

01

Software Does Not Solve Operational Problems

In 100+ consulting projects across Canadian industries, the pattern was consistent: businesses bought software, implemented it partially, and then watched their teams quietly stop using it. The tool was not the problem. The burden of operating it was. We built ScaleOps-AI to remove that burden entirely.

02

Busy People Do Not Change Their Behaviour for Software

A plumber on a job site does not stop to log a call into a CRM. An HVAC technician between appointments does not update a follow-up sequence. Expecting them to is not a technology problem — it is a human behaviour problem. Our answer is to take the behaviour requirement away completely.

03

Results Are the Only Metric That Matters

We do not measure success by features used or dashboards viewed. We measure it by opportunities captured, quotes closed, and revenue recovered. Every client receives a Monthly Revenue Recovery Report showing exactly what their business kept that month because ScaleOps-AI was running. If the number does not grow, we find out why.
